Arne Jacobsen

Pair of early examples of the famous Tongue chairs designed by Scandinavian Arne Jacobsen. The chairs come in very good original condition with a nice patina. Alongside his successful furniture designs for Fritz Hansen Arne Jacobsen was popular in architecture such as the Århus city hall which he build together with Erik Møller. This object clearly shows the formative influence of Le Corbusier, Mies van der Rohe and the Bauhaus design idea. Other influences are Hans Wegner and Finn Juhl.
