Alvaro Siza

Glamorous and entirely sculptural table lamp by Portuguese architect Alvaro Siza. The pole is made of wood and foot as well as the borders of the shade are brass which makes this lamp an elegant showpiece. Manufactured by DDI. Considered the main representative of modernism in Portugal, Siza has made himself memorable through teaching internationally, well-received architecture and being one of the leading representatives of the Porto School. Especially the respect for nature in his architectural designs make him stand out from his time companions like Angelo Lelli.
