Alf Svensson

Stylish lounge chairs designed by Alf Svensson. Very good condition with beech wooden frame and recently new upholstered in a warm grey high-quality fabric. The chairs are easy to handle, beautiful in their minimalistic design and very comfortable to sit in. Manufactured by DUX, his works of that period are well-known. He collaborated with Yngve Sandström on the chair "Form 8" in the late 1960s. In the 1950s he designed more traditionally Scandinavian looking pieces, such as the 1953 Te-Ve. Scandinavian classics like Carl Malmsten, Bruno Matthson and Yngve Ekström can be considered related.
