A rare pair of matching table lamps called "Sasso" by Luigi Caccia Dominioni for Azucena. Designed and manufactured in Italy in 1948. The base is polished river stone from which comes out a pole in brass. The shade is in enameled aluminum and can be adjusted in height with a screw, also the angle of the shade is adjustable. Luigi Caccia Dominioni was an Italian architect, designer and urban planner. In 1947, together with Ignazio Gardella, Corrado Corradi Dell'Acqua, Maria Teresa and Franca Tosi, he founded the company "Azucena", which is considered the first store in Italy for the production and sale of objects and furnishing.
