Set of six molded plywood chairs by French designer Pierre Guariche. Newly upholstered in a warm gray high-quality fabric with black lacquered metal legs. Guariche was an innovative french designer, interior decorator and architect of the 1950s. He designed his classic Tonneau chair in that period. His wide interest in new methods and materials for furniture lead him to organize exhibiting salons, showing noticeable names like Joseph-André Motte, Jean Prouvé and Charlotte Perriand and to founding the association ARP (Atelier de Recherche Plastique) with Motte and Michel Mortier.
