Elegant black Riemerschmid chairs in lacquered wood and curved armrests. The chairs are recently new upholstered in high-quality fabric. Manufactured by Dunbar in 1947. The collaboration with Dunbar since 1931 made Edward Wormley a household name for several decades. In 1947 he creates the Precedent collection for the competing Drexel Furniture Company. Some of his most famous pieces from this period are the 1946 Long John table and the simple 1948 Listen-to-Me chaise longue. Wormleys contributions resemble work by T. H. Robsjohn-Gibbings and Paul Mccobb.
